By far and away, the best contractor we have ever hired,as there was absolutely no need to leave an employee of the club with them. This left me more time to take care of my daily course maintenance.
Our staff also learned a few tips on how to handle bentgrass sod, and that proved invaluable the next time we had some to do of our own, as the finished product was of a higher quality than we normally do.
We did the project in the late spring, and in early July we experienced some heat stress on most of our greens, save for the five that had the XGD Systems Service installed on them. I believe this is because the turf roots were deeper and stronger,as a result of the extra pore space created by lowering the high water table on our old push up greens.
We have already lined up the XGD Systems Service to complete more of our greens in early 05.Eventually, we plan on installing the XGD Systems Service on all our greens."
